The Inland Empire Section holds quarterly meetings at the California Steel Industries Tech Center Café in Fontana, which is near the intersection of the 15 and 10 freeways. ASSE members who live or work in San Bernardino County and the eastern end of Los Angeles County will find the Inland Empire Section meetings to be geographically convenient.
January 2018 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Inland Empire Section. Past Chairs have included founding Chair Don Kramer, Angelica Nava, and Lorenzo Jackson. Don Kramer and Chris Gates are the current officers.
On Wednesday, January 31, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, the topic is the “Cal-OSHA 2018 Update.” The renowned Cal-OSHA Consultation Area Manager, Dan Leiner, will be presenting a special 90-minute extended technical-educational meeting that affords 0.15 continuing education credit for BCSP credential-holders. All who attend the full presentation will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
This is a FREE full-breakfast meeting for the first 50 ASSE LA members. If you are not a member of LA ASSE, the breakfast cost is $12 cash or check payable to “LA ASSE.” No credit debit cards. Note: California Public Access law allows you to attend this meeting at no cost (w/o breakfast.)
